Free Fundamental/Skills day and open pickup will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 @ Sportsworld Arena.

Please note: These sessions are only for REGISTERED PLAYERS in the KWWRHL. A goalie instructor will be at the sessions for registered goalies

Skills sessions will be run by Eric Calder’s Skills Plus Hockey School, and will include a goalie instructor at both sessions. There will be two skills sessions and an open pick-up hockey session. This year we are not taking sign-ups ahead of time, but rather leaving it as an open drop-in for all sessions.

Session 1 - Players newer to the game: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

• For newer players.
• Participants will begin with power skating and then rotate in small groups through stations working on individual skills such as shooting, passing, dekes and stick handling.

Session 2 - Experienced players: On ice session 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• For players who are comfortable with their skills and are able to perform them efficiently at higher speeds. Similar to Gear 1, but a bit faster.

Open Pickup: All skill levels - 8:00-9:00 p.m.

• Goalies - please contact your goalie co-ordinator if interested
